Jacob Gottlieb

Project Leader, Center for Innovation Strategy and Policy (CISP)

Jacob Gottlieb is a project leader for the Center for Innovation Strategy and Policy (CISP) at SRI. He designs and leads technology-based economic and workforce development efforts for nonprofit and government clients. His work includes managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects that translate rigorous analysis into actionable strategies and funding wins. At SRI, his recent projects have included Building a Waterwise Economy (Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development), the 2024 Oregon Talent Assessment (Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission), and the Arizona Bioscience Roadmap (Flinn Foundation).

Gottlieb holds a Master of Public Affairs degree from Ohio State University and Bachelor’s of Science in Policy Analysis from Indiana University. Prior to joining SRI, he served as a Research Specialist at the National League of Cities and as a Graduate Research Fellow at the International Economic Development Council.
