Detection of Social Roles in Conversations using Dynamic Bayesian Networks
In this paper, we focus on inferring social roles in conversations using information extracted only from the speaking styles of the speakers.

The BioPAX Community Standard for Pathway Data Sharing
BioPAX, which was created through a community process, solves this problem by making pathway data substantially easier to collect, index, interpret and share.

Domain adaptation and compensation for emotion detection
Inspired by the recent improvements in domain adaptation and session variability compensation techniques used for speech and speaker processing, we study their effect for emotion prediction.

Evaluation of Evidence-Based Practices in Online Learning: A Meta-Analysis and Review of Online Learning Studies
The meta-analysis found that, on average, students in online learning conditions performed modestly better than those receiving face-to-face instruction. Analysts noted that these blended conditions often included additional learning time and instructional elements not received by students in control conditions.

A Novel Steroidal Inhibitor of Estrogen-Related Receptor alpha (ERR alpha)
We describe a novel steroidal antiestrogen that binds selectively to ERRα, but not to ERRβ or ERRγ, as determined with a resonance energy transfer assay.
