Real-Time Vehicle Detection for Highway Driving
We present a new multi-stage algorithm for car and truck detection from a moving vehicle. The algorithm performs a search for pertinent features in three dimensions, guided by a ground plane and lane boundary estimation sub-system, and assembles these features into vehicle hypotheses.

Impact of Symptoms Experienced By Varenicline Users on Tobacco Treatment in a Real World Setting
This article examines reported symptoms, nonsmoking rates, and medication use among 1,018 smokers using varenicline in a randomized trial comparing three forms of behavioral support for smoking cessation (phone, Web, or phone + Web).

Oxidation of ZrB2-SiC Ultrahigh-Temperature Ceramic Composites in Dissociated Air
The oxidation behavior and surface properties of hot-pressed ZrB2–SiC ultrahigh-temperature ceramic composites are investigated under aerothermal heating conditions in the high-temperature, low-pressure partially dissociated airstream of the 1.2 MW Plastron facility at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics.

Many-to-many communication for mobile ad hoc networks
We introduce a collaboration-driven approach to the sharing of the available bandwidth in wireless ad hoc networks, which we call many-to-many communication, that allows concurrent multi-packet transmissions (MPTs) and multi-packet receptions (MPRs).
