Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor Beta 2 Subunit Gene Implicated in a Systems-Based Candidate Gene Study of Smoking Cessation
We performed a systems-based candidate gene study of 1295 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in 58 genes within the neuronal nicotinic receptor and dopamine systems to investigate their role in smoking cessation in a bupropion placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial.

HO2: A New Feature for Multi-Agent Event Detection and Recognition
In this paper, we present a new feature to model a class of events that consist of complex interactions among multiple entities captured by tracks and inter-object relationships over space and time.

Root-Mean-Square Surface Slopes of Phoenix Landing Sites with 75-Cm Bistatic Radar Received By Mars Odyssey
Between August and December 2005, we conducted 76 oblique-incidence scattering experiments using the SRI International 46-m antenna in the Stanford foothills to illuminate Mars for 20-min periods with an unmodulated, 75-cm λ, circularly polarized wave.

Using Semantic Features to Improve Task Identification in Email Messages
This paper addresses the lack of training data using domain-specific semantic features in document representation for reducing vocabulary mismatches and enhancing the discriminative power of trained classifiers.

Hypoxia Signals Autophagy in Tumor Cells Via AMPK Activity, Independent of HIF-1, BNIP3, and BNIP3L
Here we report that oxygen deprivation can activate the autophagic pathway in human cancer cell lines. We observed that hypoxia induced distinct cellular changes characteristic of autophagy such as an increase in cytoplasmic acidic vesicles, and processing and cellular localization of microtubule-associated protein.
