Education Research Associate, SRI Education
Maricela Morales, MEd, brings over a decade of experience in early childhood and higher education, with a strong focus on equity, workforce development, and multilingual learner success. Morales’ work spans diverse communities, where she has led initiatives supporting educators, families, and students in historically underserved and linguistically diverse populations.
Morales has led projects in the areas of workforce development, dual language immersion, data collection, qualitative analysis, budget management, and project deliverables including multiple randomized controlled trials. Her focus has also been on family engagement, leading parent engagement sessions and school readiness curriculum for families from linguistically diverse and varied cultural backgrounds to strengthen school-family partnerships. Morales is committed to advancing equity through cross-sector partnerships that strengthen education systems and elevate community voice throughout California.
Morales received her Master of Education, Higher Education Concentration, from California State University, Channel Islands.
