Sediment-Water Exchange on the Georgia Mid-Shelf
As part of BOTTOMS-UP, we have developed novel independent and non-invasive methods for time series sampling of porewater constituents and for estimation of time and depth-dependent fluid exchange rates within sediments (Figures 1).

Volumetric Cerebral Perfusion Imaging in Healthy Adults: Regional Distribution, Laterality, and Repeatability of Pulsed Continuous Arterial Spin Labeling (PCASL)
The regional distribution, laterality, and reliability of volumetric pulsed continuous arterial spin labeling measurements of cerebral blood flow in cortical, subcortical, and cerebellar regions were determined in 10 normal volunteers studied on two occasions separated by 3 to 7 days.

Polycrystalline Silicon Film and Solar Cells By FBR-CVD
A new SRI International deposition technology based on fluidized bed reactor-chemical vapor deposition takes advantage of the high heat and mass transfer in a FBR, and combines it with subhalide CVD chemistry with highly reactive species created in the reactor.

Designing a cross-channel information management tool for workers in enterprise task forces
Abstract This paper presents the design process of a cross-channel information management tool for busy professionals in enterprise task-forces of a large IT services enterprise. We conducted three rounds of investigation: we characterized their work practices and needs; we analyzed key requirements for a content management tool and used paper prototypes to specify an initial…

Understanding knowledge in action in the context of managing services
In its attempt to introduce a framework for approaching such issues, this paper suggests that treating a service as a complex set of activities and gaining close understanding of knowledge practically managed as part of actual service activities is a fruitful way of conceptualising the relationship between service activities, value co-creation and knowledge management.

Transcallosal White Matter Degradation Detected with Quantitative Fiber Tracking in Alcoholic Men and Women: Selective Relations to Dissociable Functions
Here, we examined six anatomically defined transcallosal white matter fiber bundles and asked whether any bundle was specifically vulnerable to alcohol, what aspect of white matter integrity was most affected, whether women were more vulnerable than men, and whether evidence of compromise in specific bundles was associated with deficits in balance, sustained attention, associative learning,…
