Time-Aware Relational Abstractions for Hybrid Systems
We present a technique to compute a time-aware relational abstraction for verifying (timing-related) safety properties of cyber-physical systems.

Influence of Inhibitory Serotonergic Inputs to Orexin/Hypocretin Neurons on the Diurnal Rhythm of Sleep and Wakefulness
Inhibitory serotonergic input likely contributes to wakefulness bouts, affecting the diurnal rhythm of sleep and wakefulness.

Video Object Segmentation through Spatially Accurate and Temporally Dense Extraction of Primary Object Regions
In this paper, we propose a novel approach to extract primary object segments in videos in the ‘object proposal’ domain. The extracted primary object regions are then used to build object models for optimized video segmentation.

Nicotine Reduces Established Levodopa-Induced Dyskinesias in a Monkey Model of Parkinson’s Disease
The goal of this study was to determine whether the duration of nicotine administration affects its ability to reduce LIDs in levodopa-primed and levadopa-naíve monkeys and also to test whether tolerance develops to the beneficial effects of nicotine.

Novel Human Radiation Exposure Biomarker Panel Applicable for Patient Triage
A panel of only three proteins is sufficient to accurately distinguish an individual that was exposed to low-levels of ionizing radiation from an unexposed person. These findings have significant implications in terms of being able to triage individuals in the case of unanticipated nuclear or radiological events.

A Zero CO2-Emitting Process for Transportation Fuels from Coal and Natural Gas Resources
Simultaneous steam reforming of natural gas and conversion of coal to syngas was achieved in a gas-blown, electrically heated, entrained-flow gasifier. Conversions > 95% for both coal and natural gas were achieved at temperatures above 1450°C with a product molar ratio of H 2:CO equal to 2.

Dead End Metabolites – Defining the Known Unknowns of the E. coli Metabolic Network
We have analysed the occurrence of dead end metabolites within the database – these are metabolites which lack the requisite reactions (either metabolic or transport) that would account for their production or consumption within the metabolic network.

Network Coding for Content-Based Intermittently Connected Emergency Networks
n this demo, we present a network architecture that exploits partial caches by utilizing network coding to deliver large files (e.g. images) to first responders. The architecture is based on a content centric network platform called ICEMAN(Information CEntric Mobile Ad-hoc Networking) and runs on Android phones.
