Measuring Flow Complexity in Videos
In this paper a notion of flow complexity that measures the amount of interaction among objects is introduced and an approach to compute it directly from a video sequence is proposed.

A comparison study of user behavior on Facebook and Gmail
In this paper, we collected objective, privacy-preserved behavior data from participants that were both active Facebook and Gmail users.
-
Online reconfigurable machines
We propose an approach to achieving online reconfigurability based on a high level of system modularity supported by integrated, model-based planning and control software.

Wellness Tourism is a Growth Opportunity Worldwide
Ask individuals how healthy they feel when traveling, and you’re more likely to hear a litany of complaints than a list of benefits. Even when we take a vacation to unwind, jet lag, missing sleep, unhealthy meals, and disrupted exercise routines are side effects of the way we travel, whether for business or for pleasure.…

Veterans’ Experience is Valuable to SRI International and the Clients We Serve
As a veteran of the Vietnam War and a graduate of West Point, Veterans Day touches me personally and professionally. It’s vitally important that as a nation we have a day that recognizes those who are serving—and those who have served—in the United States Armed Forces. It brings both a sense of history and purpose…

High Frequency Neuronal Oscillations in a Cynomologus Macaque Test of Sustained Attention Following Nmda Receptor Antagonism
These studies may help to define the role of high frequency oscillations in cognitive processes in higher order species, and to enhance our understanding of EEG recordings as a translatable biomarker for CIAS.

Hyperspectral Aerosol Optical Depths from TCAP Flights
The favorable intercomparisons herald 4STAR’s spatially-resolved high-frequency hyperspectral products as a reliable tool for climate studies and satellite validation.

AT-202, a Nociceptin Receptor Agonist, Blocks Drug- and Stress-Induced Reinstatement of Extinguished Cocaine Conditioned Place Preference
In the present study we examined the effects of AT-202 on acquisition and drug-primed or stress-induced reinstatement of cocaine CPP. These findings provide preliminary evidence that the NOP receptor agonists may be useful as pharmacotherapies to treat psychostimulant addiction and may be especially valuable in relapse prevention.

Field Ionization Characteristics of an Ion Source Array for Neutron Generators
Ion currents from single etched-wire tips operating under the same conditions are used to help understand array results. I-F characteristics of the arrays were found to follow trends similar to those of the better understood single etched-wire tip results; however, the fields achieved by the arrays are limited by electrical breakdown of the structure.

Formulation Development of Acyclovir/Tenofovir Loaded Two-Polymer (SR-2P) Bioadhesive Vaginal Gel
The in vitro release of drugs from the optimized gel formulation in simulated vaginal fluid was characterized using in-line Franz diffusion cell with regenerated cellulose membrane.
